Pumpkin Pie Spice

Usher in fall with a jar of homemade pumpkin pie spice in your cupboard. Now you're ready for pumpkin pies, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pancakes ... pumpkin everything!
Yield: 10

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Mix all of the spices together in a bowl. Use a funnel to add to a spice jar. Cover tightly and keep in your pantry for pies, cookies, coffees and more!

Notes

If you'd like, you can also add 1 tablespoon ground allspice, 1/2 teaspoon ground mace, and/or 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom to the mix.
Feel free to scale up or down. I like to double this recipe and that's usually about enough to get me through to pumpkin pie time.
