A prolific summer squash also sometimes referred to as yellow squash; bulbous on one end with a small, curved neck at the other. Crookneck Squash is essentially a more old-fashioned version of yellow squash, the yellow form of zucchini found in grocery store pretty much everywhere.
TASTE: Mild, smooth, a little buttery with edible peel and seeds; very similar to zucchini
